Heritage

The journey began in 1993 inside a small basement office in downtown Cincinnati, Ohio. Here, LÛCRUM CEO John Bostick founded a small company called Client Server Associates (CSA). John’s plan was to create a business services organization that would offer more value and vastly better end results than traditional consulting organizations.

In 1999, John decided to take a fast-growing group within CSA and turn it into a separate corporation, dbaDIRECT, a remote database administration company that quickly evolved into a pioneer and leader in data infrastructure management. In late 1999, John changed the company’s name from CSA to LÛCRUM – the Latin word for profit – to illustrate the company’s focus on improving the bottom line performance of its clients. So far, clients have credited LÛCRUM with creating more than $100 million in enhanced profits for their businesses.

Today, with more than 1,000 years of business know-how in the organization, LÛCRUM solves business problems on four continents and in more than 1,000 user locations.

The company is a leader and innovator in the software development and systems integration industry, helping customers plan business strategies, redesign work processes and develop business applications that fuel growth. LÛCRUM focuses on business needs first, and then technology, as we help clients live where their business is going.
