Client Engagement Model

iStream™

A recent study at Computerworld’s 2005 CIO 100 conference found that more than 70 percent of corporate IT projects fail. This conundrum has been haunting IT for several years.

iStream™ Approach Improves Success Rates

A new approach has been developed and deployed by LÛCRUM’s experienced professionals. Exciting results have been achieved. End-user recipients and their customers are starting to see a change in success rate that is minimizing the risk of failure.

What’s Wrong With Traditional Approaches?

Traditional approaches to working with customers teach “risk mitigation” for critical projects, but too often this consists of lists of possible risks used as a “paper trail” to prove “it’s not my fault” (INMF) when the project goes south. LÛCRUM’s iStream™ approach turns this approach on its ear. Lists of risks and INMF are thrown out, and replaced with “constraints”. “Constraints” look like impenetrable walls, but iStream™ teaches that these walls are actually “gates”, and passage is actually possible if you know where to find the key.

Technology delivered, but not utilized by the end user, has to be seen as a failed project.

Traditional approaches to technical projects frequently have focused on the technology. iStream™ teaches how to redefine a technical project as a business project, and to track delivery of true business value before you can call the project “done”.
